Project description

The Medical Faculty of the University of Basel keeps up with the world and decides to implement digital technologies on different levels. MedMe is yet another stage of this initiative. It is a web resource that automates the process of creation and managing of exam schedules, devoiding personnel of some aspects of this exhaustible routine.

Main responsibilities

  • Defining and prioritizing high-level requirements
  • Collecting estimates from developers
  • Preparing roadmaps
  • Specifying low-level requirements based on spoken and written communication with the technical customer
  • Reviewing visual prototypes
  • Preparing scope of the sprint — creating user stories, conducting groomings and plannings with the team
  • Functional testing of the self-prepared part of the scope
  • Analysing 3rd parties API documentation and create integration requirements for back-end developers

Mandatory requirements

  • 2+ years of experience as a Business/System Analyst
  • Analytical and communications skills necessary to gather and define business requirements and translate them into solutions
  • Strong system analysis skills (data modelling)
  • Understanding of REST API
  • Ability to read JSON and describe new ones in details for the request/response models of the endpoints
  • Basic knowledge of SQL and understanding how relational data bases work, ability to read the DB schema
  • Advanced English level
