Challenges and objectives
Laying the Foundation with a Strong Back-End
Security is the heart of any FinTech platform, and security starts with a back-end architecture. We spent plenty of time researching, suggesting, and testing our assumption to build an architecture that would be difficult to exploit, that would work efficiently under heavy loads, and that would be easy to update in case a major addition to the system is required.
Implementing Reliable End-to-End Encryption
Another challenge was to implement reliable end-to-end encryption for sensitive data transfer. The encryption process shouldn’t hinder the efficiency of the platform while providing reliable protection, which covers the ‘weakest’ points of the data transmission process.
Rigorous Testing for Maximum Security and Stability
As for the development itself, we as always, relied heavily on testing because only a meticulous QA process is able to uncover nasty hidden bugs and vulnerabilities. Iterating performance testing with consequential updates to the system helped us to create truly robust and bulletproof applications.
Enhancing Security Through Thoughtful UX Design
Last but not least, we spent quite some time developing the design as it is not only responsible for the overall impression of the app but also helps to improve user-side security with intuitive workflows that minimize the probability of a user error. Keeping in mind easyMoney’s brand identity guidelines and focusing on usability, we strived to create a truly intuitive user experience.
Results of the project
SFLend iOS and Android apps provide users with reliable and convenient P2P investments service. Our feedback-centric design approach helped us to create UX that is clean, easy to follow, and requires a user to perform the minimum number of actions.
Thus, easyMoney users spend less time figuring out the apps' workflows and more time thinking, analyzing, and investing to maximize their financial well-being.
