In the initial phase of our project development, we conducted comprehensive surveys and interviews with both stakeholders and potential users to gain valuable insights into their needs, preferences, and expectations from a modern banking application. These interactions were pivotal in shaping the direction and features of our bank.
Competitors analysis
Before delving into the development of our project, we conducted a thorough analysis of the competitive landscape to gain insights into existing players, their offerings, and areas of opportunity. This phase was crucial in identifying gaps in the market and refining our value proposition. By examining their product features, market positioning, and customer feedback, we gained valuable insights into the strengths and weaknesses of each competitor. In summary, Starling Bank and Monzo cater directly to consumers and businesses with comprehensive banking services, while MARQETA serves businesses needing customized card issuing and payment processing solutions.
Ideation

Through the Customer Journey Mapping exercise, we identified key pain points, bottlenecks, and moments of delight across each stage of the user journey. This enabled us to pinpoint areas for improvement and innovation, ensuring that our app effectively addressed user needs and expectations.
Information Architecture
We focused on structuring data and designing the navigation system to ensure that users could easily find and access the information and functionalities they need within our bank app.
