Stakeholder interview
Different stakeholders influence the MVP design process in distinct ways. Understanding and acknowledging these diverse factors, influences, and inputs is crucial for achieving the project’s goals.
Surveys
A series of questions, typically more closed-ended than open-ended, is designed to gather valuable feedback and insights from your audience about the product. These questions can be presented as intercept surveys while users navigate your site or application to capture immediate reactions. More commonly, we reach participants through emails or social media.
Competitor analysis
Performing a competitive analysis is important to understand the strengths and weaknesses of similar products in a given industry sector or market niche. It typically focuses on companies competing with your products or services for market share. It can help us identify gaps, opportunities and potential design patterns to adopt or avoid.
Ideation
VPC
We utilize the Value Proposition Canvas to tailor the MVP design around customer values and needs. This framework allows us to create a product that delivers real value and meets specific demands.
Wireframing
Wireframing
Wireframes serve as detailed blueprints for designing screens and web pages. They visualize the user experience and guide design and development decisions. For a design team, wireframing is invaluable early in the interaction design process, as it explores how concepts accommodate user and startup needs.
Usability testing
We evaluate the wireframes by having real users interact with them to determine how effective and efficient the product is in helping users complete specific tasks. Representative users perform these tasks while being observed and recorded by our analysts. The goal is to pinpoint usability problems, gather qualitative and quantitative insights, and measure how satisfied users are with the product.
Visual design
High-fidelity prototypes and mockups
We use mockups to present the final look of the MVP and explore visual elements such as layout, color palette, typography, and editorial copy. In user experience (UX) design, this step defines the goals and intentions behind the design, guiding the creative process.
